Logimine is the first European company to have specialised in fleet management for the

opencast mining industry; its first vehicle dispatch control software was originally applied

at Aluminium ore mining sites in 1990.

In 1999, the company launched its own range of intelligent on-board electronics that enables

the acquisition and communication of data including vehicle position, movement and payload.

Since 2002, Logimine has extended the capability of its system by integrating network solutions

such as WIFI, telephony over IP, backbone optical fibre etc.

The Logimine range has grown over time to enable full control of mine vehicles of any type,

dispatch, drilling and blasting activities, as well as quality and stock management.

Further innovations include a high-precision loader weight measurement system and

the integration of latest real time radio-GPS systems.

The company has built long term relationships with major open cast mines and quarries

throughout the world. It has offices in France and Canada and has appointed distributors

in Cameroun, China, India and North America.
