To celebrate both birthdays, the SLN organized last November 25th, a transformation of the ‘Place des Cocotiers’ in Noumea: Marquees in the shape of New Caledonia led the visitors to wander through six main sites of the SLN – Thio, Kouaoua, Népoui, Tiébaghi, sub-contracted mines and Doniambo – to discover these mining or industrial places.

Giant photos displayed real-time control solution deployed by Logimine in four of the SLN sites:
- GPS reception and emission to/from the vehicles
- Dispatch office where supervisors can monitor vehicles movement and cycles on PC screens

Since 2009, Logimine has equipped four SLN sites with its advanced automatic dispatch and mobile to mobile communication systems, and very recently, has installed RTK base stations enabling centimetre tracking of land surveys.
